Week by week, what most patients can expect, and how to plan time off.

Recovery looks different for every procedure and every person. This timeline is a general guide only, and your surgeon will give you a personal one.
Week one
Rest, short walks and your first check with the care team. Most patients stay at home and keep plans light.
Weeks two to four
Many patients return to desk work and gentle daily routines. Heavier exercise waits until you are cleared.
Weeks four to eight
Most restrictions are lifted in stages. Swelling continues to settle and the shape of the result becomes clearer.
Month three and beyond
Final results develop gradually over several months. We see you at set check-ins and are available between them.
Begin
Considered change, planned together.
Start with a private video consultation. A surgeon reviews your goals, answers your questions and tells you honestly whether surgery is the right step.
