Who it suits
Suitable for adults at a stable weight who have loose skin or separated muscles that diet and exercise have not resolved, and who do not plan future pregnancies.
Recovery timeline
Week 1
You will stay with us for the first night. You will wear a support garment and walk a little each day to help circulation.
Weeks 2 to 4
Drains are removed. Many patients return to desk work toward the end of this period but should avoid lifting.
Weeks 4 to 8
Gradual return to exercise as cleared. Swelling continues to settle.
Month 3 and beyond
The scar matures and fades over many months. Final results are assessed at our six-month visit.
