Liposuction contouring removes stubborn fat deposits that do not respond to diet and exercise and refines the shape of the treated area. It works best on firm skin with good elasticity.
Who it suits
Good candidates are close to their ideal weight, in good health, and have localised pockets of fat. It is a shaping procedure, not a weight loss treatment.
Recovery timeline
Week 1
You will wear a compression garment. Soreness and bruising are expected, and gentle walking is encouraged.
Weeks 2 to 4
Swelling and bruising ease. Most patients return to desk work and light activity.
Weeks 4 to 8
Exercise is reintroduced in stages. The shape becomes more defined as swelling settles.
Month 3 and beyond
Final contour is clear after about three months. We check in at set visits.
